Tune In Tuesday {3}

Tune In Tuesday is a fun weekly post hosted by Ginger at GReads.  It's a great way to see what kind of music other people are loving.  I’ve seen these around and just had to join in the fun.

I think most people know the song Careless Whisper (at least most born before or during the 80s).  George Michael released it in 1984.  Seether then covered it in 2009 (there have been more over the years).  While I like George Michael's original I LOVE Seether's cover.  What do you think?

  4. Oh man, I'm going to have to buck the majority here and go with George Michael's version. I like the Seether version but, I gotta go with the original on this one.

    On a side note, I had no idea that Seether did a cover of this song. So, yay for learning something new today. =)

  5. I love Seether's version. It rocks hardcore. (Of course, I love Seether too so I might be a bit biased.)

  6. YAY for Seether fans! I could listen to them all the time and not get tired of them. And this is one of my favorite songs they sing.

    No worries Jen! That's what I love about music, different tastes for each person! I don't judge. And YAY for learning something new. :0)

  7. OMG. THANK YOU MUCH. I majorly heart this song (Seether's) but I never committed the title to memory. Now I have it, and I am so happy about that. AHHH. Thanks :)

  8. Wow, this is great. I'm a HUGE HUGE George Michael fan from way back, so of course I love his version. But Seether's cover is INCREDIBLE. I love them BOTH.

    Excellent choice!!!

  9. I seriously love both versions of this song so much, you have no idea! I am a major fan of 80's music, and cover songs by newer bands! I haven't heard this song in a while, and you just re-kindled my love for it! Woo!
