February Reads 2016

I tried book blogging before...it didn't work out. I ramble too much. A few years I decided to post once a month with a small blurb about each book I read that month. It works better for me. So much so that I'm going to continue this year. You can click on any picture and it'll take you to the Goodreads page.

February was a MUCH better month! Thirteen!!!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling

This book! It started out SO promising. Without giving anything away this quickly became my favorite and then least favorite.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling

Always.

Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

I ADORE these books. Each one better than the one before. After re-reading these this month Isla is still my favorite.

Going Too Far and Forget You by Jennifer Echols

Another set of re-reads. Both of these books are fantastic but Going Too Far and Officer After win hand(cuff)s down.

Wish You Were Italian by Kristin Rae

Perfect, sweet read for summer. I grinned and giggled out loud so many times. Completely adored this book just as much as I did the first time I read it two years ago!

What You Always Wanted by Kristin Rae

I love a good sweet, swoon worthy book! Kristin does a fantastic job of taking real life struggles and blending them with fantastic settings and like able characters (or not so like able in the case of Rica...haha) and sprinkles it all with kissing scenes.

Other Broken Things by Christa Desir

I will never not love the grittiness and realness of Christa's books. She's not afraid to be in your face about difficult situations and circumstances that matter. That need to be brought to life. Her books are dark and edgy but to their core they matter.

Biggest Flirts, Perfect Couple and Most Likely to Succeed (Senior Superlatives) by Jennifer Echols

These books! I couldn't read them fast enough. And it's so hard to pick a favorite. Jennifer is another author who writes kick ass strong, female characters who aren't afraid to take their life into their own hands.
